Our client is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and organizational skills coupled with the ability to establish and maintain client relationships while providing excellent customer service.
The ideal Project Manager I will have 3 – 4 years’ experience managing software solution implementation projects for clients and be eager to grow within our Project Management Office.
The Project Manager I will be responsible for enterprise-wide software solution implementation projects for many of the world' s largest Fortune companies.
Within our Professional Services Organization, a successful candidate will work closely with our Technical Team, Sales Consultants, Key Account Executives and client Project Teams to ensure successful delivery of Identity and Access Management solutions.
Most importantly, this candidate should possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess issues as they arise by determining importance, urgency and risks while gathering and processing critical information to provide innovative solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
Manage projects by establishing direction, aligning resources throughout the our client’ s organization, and championing the client’ s project management methodology
Project planning and ‘ day-to-day’ implementation of Identity and Access Management security software solutions
Ensure best practices in project management are utilized throughout the project lifecycle
Exercise regular and clear communication with the client' s Project Team to establish and maintain a solid client relationship
Implement and maintain regular and clear communication with the client’ s internal Technical Project Team
Provide operational management of the project (i.e. functional, technical and organizational aspects)
Pro-actively communicate project status to all stakeholders
Identify risks and issues and perform risk management including appropriate mitigation
Manage project budgets
Manage all aspects of Change Control Process
Manage conflict in a professional manner and exercise escalation processes when required
Education / Experience / Skills
3-4 years client facing project management experience using the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology
Experience using project management software (e.g. MS Project)
Proficiency using MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel
Ability to track record for project planning, executing, controlling and closing
Excellent written / oral communication skills, particularly in client facing situations
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented, self-motivated and highly organized with solid problem solving skills
Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with clients / partners
Four year degree is required
PMP certification or enrollment in certification program is preferred
Background in software development is a plus
Experience with Google Products (Drive, Docs, Sheets) is a plus
Travel is required
Must be willing to share knowledge and partner with other members of the PMO and provide guidance to team members as needed
