Middleware Technical Support Specialist - Level II
  • Status: Contract assignment

A Health Insurance company is presently seeking a Middleware Technical Support Specialist – Level II to handle Incident Management / Level II break-fix Problem Management / Root Cause Analysis System reporting and   identify areas of opportunity for debugs / deep-dive diagnostics.  Candidate will also be responsible for vendor engagement / Level 3 support engagement and have close interaction with the Application area, CIP, Change Management, OCC, Data Storage Management, Server Support, Database Engineering and Project teams.

Responsibilities will also include:
  • Monitoring/alerting administration and governance
  • Configuration management,  CI owners
  • Production Code Deployments Project
  • Production Readiness
  • Maintain Runbooks
  • Provide 24X7 on-call support for all production environments
  • Resource management on servers – Disk Space / Memory Consultation services for internal and external vendor partner community
  • Web Admin and Support operational processes and offerings
  • Disaster Recovery exercises and Disaster Recovery readiness work


Skills
  • Strong skills in Linux, JBoss, Websphere, Windows IIS.   
  • Deep dive diagnostics and problem root cause analysis.   
  • Strong skills in tools such as APM, TeamQuest, SiteScope, SPLUNK, etc.
     

Education

Typically requires four to six years of experience Skills and Experience:
