Luxury company is seeking a System Architect specializing in NetSuite and other Business Systems.  This position is responsible for all systems architecture and ensure that the business is able to easily access all pertinent customer and business information. 

Reporting to the CFO, the Systems Architect will play a critical role in making sure the enterprise systems and programs are envisioned, designed, developed and implemented across the enterprise to elegantly meet business needs.  This position will be involved at every phase of the project lifecycle from intake through delivery and will represent IT thought leadership as a key voice for the leadership team.

What’ s needed: A long-term strategic view for the Company’ s IT infrastructure that promotes the use of shared infrastructure to reduce costs, improve information flows.

Optimize information management approaches through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities.

Work with key stakeholders to capture and validate integration requirements for the project, using industry standard integration and SOA methodologies. As well as Collaborate with key business stakeholders, vendors, and outside consultants to provide a consensus-based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and synchronized with our ever-changing business needs.

Ensure alignment of cross functional IT strategy and planning with Company’ s business goals.

Design and deliver high quality integration solutions that satisfy project requirements and meet the Company’ s enterprise needs.

Manage risks associated with information and IT assets through the development, use and promotion of the appropriate standards and security policies.

Teach and explain SOA, integration and other architecture principles, benefits and technical solutions to business and technical audiences.

Assist in creating policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of information technologies within the enterprise.

Ensure widespread adoption, build employee knowledge and skills in your specific areas of expertise.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 8 years of proven experience with business intelligence and data warehousing.

Minimum 6+ years’ practical hands-on experience with two or more of the following areas of BI/DW: reporting, ETL, data analysis, data modeling/architecture, development/architecture, information/data delivery, BI/DW quality assurance, Master Data Management, BI/ DW solution architecture, or BI/DW infrastructure.

Experience serving in ecommerce/retail environments is highly preferred.

Proven experience with database normalization, data validation, data hygiene, data cleansing, data consolidation, data enrichment, and DaaS.

Proven project management skills in the area of data integration, ETL, reporting, data warehousing, and business intelligence projects.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective and timely decisions.

Experience designing, implementing, growing and supporting business intelligence and data warehouse systems and competencies. Experience leading projects with 10+ resources; including a mix of internal and external.

Experience working with teams comprised of consultants, vendors and full-time employees.

Proven lifecycle solution development, from requirements gathering through build, test, deploy and support.

Ability to write clear technical specifications and requirements.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong inclination to follow-up, communicate through ambiguity, and function with a service orientation.

Detail and task oriented with a sense of urgency and the ability to re-prioritize as needed with minimal direction.

Ability to multitask in a collaborative environment, partnering with individuals from various departments.

Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to analyze and make recommendations on solutions.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Must work autonomously in a fast- paced, growing environment.

Ability to streamline complex systems.
