Title: Tier 1 Analyst
Location: Must be local to NYC
Type: Full-time


Immediate opportunity for a Tier 1 Analyst to join a growing organization.  The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in administrative functions related to desktop and mobile operating systems and applications for multiple computing platforms, basic/intermediate server experience, and basic/intermediate network troubleshooting while demonstrating exceptional customer service.

This position is for someone eager to get their career started or continue their knowledge working in a support capacity. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as primary support contact (70%)
Tasks involved in fulfilling above duty/responsibility:
  • Respond to staff within a designated timeframe with resolution/outcome and ensure customer business needs are met while adhering to ITIL process, corporate standards, and meeting service level agreements
  • Demonstrate the willingness and ability to generate thoughtful, creative approaches to work
  • Maintain and support mobile/desktop operating system
  • Install, maintain, and support software/hardware
  • Support printing systems
  • Provide training and support for technology as necessary
  • Maintain excellent communication and coordination with agency & technology team
  • Maintain and assist AV needs across the agency

Inventory and Asset Management coordination. (20%)
Tasks involved in fulfilling above duty/responsibility:
- Maintain desktop, mobile, and infrastructure inventory and management to agency standards (10%)

General Responsibilities. (10%)
Tasks involved in fulfilling above duty/responsibility:
- Perform other duties as assigned as a member of IT team

Ideal candidates must have a great deskside manner and must also possess a solid working knowledge of:
  • Windows 10 and Mac (Catalina/Mojave)
  • Experience with Casper Jamf
  • TCP/IP networking fundamentals
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve computer problems
  • Ability to install/troubleshoot printers, scanners, faxes
  • Ability to answer staff questions in person, via phone and email on all company supported applications
  • Ability to track hardware and software inventory and helpdesk requests
  • Be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Have familiarity with Windows/Apple hardware
  • Audio/video experience
  • This position would require off hours availability.
